About the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Consulting Center (BECC)
The Biostatistics and Epidemiology Consulting Center (BECC) offers consultation and advice on matters related to proposal development, primarily to researchers within the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
The BECC specializes in:
- Design and analysis strategies for research proposals, including sample size calculations, involving observational, experimental, and survey research studies; and
- Data Analysis on a limited basis for qualifying faculty and fellows who have no access to financial resources.
