Grant Proposal and Study Design Core Background and Overview
Background
The Grant Proposal and Study Design Core (GPSDC) a division of the BECC, provides biostatistical and epidemiological study design on matters related to grant proposal development.
Overview
GPSDC services include consultation on design and analysis strategies for research proposals and data analysis for pilot studies. GPSDC services are often provided by faculty members from the divisions of Biostatistics or Epidemiology, who have expertise across a wide range of statistical methods and research designs, and extensive experience working with biomedical and clinical investigators in diverse disciplines. This expertise and experience includes development and implementation of studies of all sizes from small pilot studies to large-scale, multicenter clinical trials, collaborative clinical and patient-oriented research, and multi-institutional health services research projects.
