Study Design and Biostatistics Services

The CCEB/DBE serves as an interdisciplinary resource for clinical research throughout the School of Medicine. CCEB/DBE faculty have expertise across a wide range of statistical methods and research designs, and have extensive experience working with biomedical and clinical investigators in diverse disciplines. Long-term collaborations with CCEB/DBE faculty are encouraged.

Biostatistics Analysis Center (BAC)

The Biostatistics Analysis Center (BAC) provides professional M.S.- and Ph.D.-level biostatistical support for collaborative research projects.

Consulting and Grant Proposal Development

The Consulting and Grant Proposal Development section provides epidemiological and biostatistical study design consultation and advice to researchers within the health system on matters related to proposal development.

Outcomes Measurement Methods Core (OMMC)

The Outcomes Measurement Methods Core (OMMC) provides technical support to aid investigators in finding or developing appropriate measurement tools for the outcomes of their patient-oriented clinical research. This may include: (i) help in defining appropriate outcomes; (ii) help in locating appropriate outcome measures or questionnaires; (iii) help in designing outcome measures or questionnaires where appropriate; (iv) guiding small validity and reliability studies, including analyses related to preliminary data for grant applications; and (v) collaboration on grant development.
