Penn Medicine's CORE program and the Center for Addiction Medicine and Policy will be hosting a new weekly, anonymous support forum for Penn employees who have been challenged with substance use in their families or themselves. "Recovery friendly workplace" is a theme to help mitigate stigma and design inclusive communities including at work. Being virtual provides an opportunity for us to offer anonymous meetings to help engage any staff in group conversations of support for themselves or family members in this current crisis. Meetings are held on Wednesdays at noon beginning April 22 and will be hosted by our well known certified recovery specialists who are gifted listeners and facilitators and tremendous resources for substance use recovery.
