Students must have completed PARS/PASH or AEER to be eligible to apply for the summer internship program
PARS is the Penn Academy for Reproductive Science
PASH is the Penn Academy for Skin Health
AEER is the Academy for Environmental Exposure Reduction
The Summer Internship program is seven weeks starting in June and ending in August. There are six weeks of research in a lab followed by a clinical week and exposure to clinical medicine.
All interns are hired as temporary UPenn employees for the seven weeks and receive an hourly wage.
Every intern is paired with a mentor in the lab to help guide them through the process of developing research to present at a poster presentation at the end of the sessions as well as networking events
