Clinical Services
In addition to the clinical care provided through our research programs, the Center for Weight and Eating Disorders offers individualized treatment that is informed by our cutting edge research.
Outpatient individual psychotherapy is offered by some of our faculty, fellows, and other doctoral trainees focusing on the treatment of eating disorders such as binge eating disorder, night eating syndrome, bulimia nervosa, and anorexia nervosa, was well as weight-related issues such as behavioral weight management, body image disturbance, and bariatric surgery (pre- and post-surgical therapeutic support).
Penn Quest or Aetna Behavioral Health plans offered to employees and students through the University of Pennsylvania are accepted for individual psychotherapy services with our providers. All other individual psychotherapy sessions are provided as fee-for-service (inquire for rate). Patients seeking treatment for weight or disordered eating issues may also see a clinician in training (inquire for rate). All care is under the supervision of a licensed faculty member.
Please call 215-898-7314 for more information for any of these programs. For inpatient services, please contact Penn Medicine's Princeton Center for Eating Disorders.
