Students for Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity (SIDE)

As an independent student-led body, SIDE comprises representatives from each class and our core cultural affinity groups. SIDE ensures that the voices of students are represented around equity, inclusion, and diversity matters and serves as a means of communication between PSOM administration, cultural affinity groups, and the medical student body.

SIDE works closely with IDEAL MEd and the PSOM offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Affairs. SIDE also collaborates with the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (OIDE) and the Alliance of Minority Physicians (AMP).
